Golden Hour

Sunshine, served over ice.

Golden Hour is the drink for that point in the day when the laptop closes, the ice comes out and everything suddenly feels considerably more civilized.

Citrus, rosemary and Bite Me come together in a bright, aromatic sparkling mocktail that's sophisticated enough for a dinner party and easy enough for a Tuesday.

What you'll need

1 oz Bite Me Tonic
2 oz fresh orange juice
3 oz chilled soda water
1 small rosemary sprig
Orange wheel
Optional splash of Grenadine

Make it

Fill a rocks glass with ice.

Add Bite Me and orange juice, then top with chilled soda water.

Stir gently.

Clap the rosemary lightly between your hands to release its aroma, add it to the glass and finish with an orange wheel.

Then find somewhere sunny.

Golden hour optional. Golden Hour mandatory.

Make it fancy

Run a strip of orange peel around the rim before dropping it into the glass. It adds an extra hit of citrus aroma without making the drink sweeter.
